Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of Canopy Dash ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when a child or other user plays the Canopy Dash Android game (the "App"). Canopy Dash is designed for children.
1. Information provided directly
The App does not require an account. We do not ask children or other users to provide a name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, files, or other personal information through the App.
2. Local game data
Game progress and settings—including coins, unlocked items, missions, achievements, and high scores—are stored locally on the device. We do not operate a server that receives this gameplay progress. Local data can be removed by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.
3. Child-directed advertising
The App uses Unity LevelPlay for advertising mediation, with advertising services that may include Unity/ironSource and Google AdMob. The App identifies itself to these services as child-directed. Ads are configured to be non-personalized, age-appropriate, and limited to a maximum content rating of G.
The App does not request permission to access the Android Advertising ID. Advertising providers may still process limited technical information needed to deliver contextual ads, count impressions, prevent fraud, maintain security, and diagnose performance. This may include an IP address, general device and operating-system information, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information. We do not permit this information to be used by the App for behavioral advertising or remarketing to children.
4. Consent and privacy controls
The App marks users as under the age of consent when requesting applicable privacy information. Where a privacy choice is legally required and available, it can be accessed from Settings > Privacy > Ad Privacy Choices. Ads remain configured for child-directed, non-personalized treatment.
5. Third-party services
These providers process information under their own policies and may process it in countries other than the user's country. We configure their SDKs for child-directed treatment before advertising is initialized.

6. Data retention and security
Local game data remains on the device until the App's data is cleared or the App is uninstalled. Advertising providers determine retention periods for the limited information they process, as described in their policies. Network communications use encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Children's privacy
Canopy Dash is designed for children and is configured for child-directed treatment under applicable advertising rules. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information directly to us, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
8. Parent and guardian rights
A parent or guardian may contact us with a privacy question or request. Because we do not operate user accounts or receive locally stored gameplay progress, we may not possess information that identifies the child. Requests concerning information processed independently by an advertising provider may need to be submitted to that provider through the links above.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its advertising configuration, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy and update its effective date.
